    Help HotlineThe Help Hotline provides to the residents of the Blue Ridge Summit area assistance in the form of a clothing bank, food banks and limited financial assistance with utility bills. All assistance must be done by contacting the Help Hotline manager at 717-762-9050, who will then schedule an appointment for either Tuesday evening or Saturday morning each week, unless considered an emergency.     UGI Customer Assistance Program (CAP) - Union-Snyder Community Action AgencyOffers qualified, low income customers a more manageable monthly energy bill. Monthly payments are based on gross income, household size, and energy usage. Over time, customers' past debt to UGI can be forgiven following consistent program payments.     UGI GAS Customer Assistance Program (CAP) - SLHDAThe CAP (Customer Assistance Program) offers personalized monthly payment amounts based on gross income, household size, and energy usage at the property. CAP Program arranges a reduced payment plan for UGI-Penn Natural Gas customers who are eligible and have an active UGI-PNG account. Customers must have a verifiable source of income on which the CAP payment is based. Part of the customer agreement with UGI-PNG is that the customer apply for LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program). SLHDA, Inc. is able to assist UGI-PNG customers with the completion of their LIHEAP application and forward the application to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare for processing.LackawannaWeatherization - SLHDAScranton Lackawanna Human Development Agency

This program begins October 1st of each year.
