    Bryn Mawr Hospital - One Day Prepared ChildbirthOne Day Prepared Childbirth is an alternative class for couples who are unable to attend the three-week series. The content is the same as the Prepared Childbirth Series but taught in an accelerated fashion. The program is offered to couples expecting a first baby or couples who have never attended childbirth classes. Classes focus on both the physical and emotional aspects of labor and delivery, with emphasis on breathing and relaxation techniques. A tour of the Maternity Unit will be provided. CHOICE Counselors provide education, counseling, and referrals to people who are often in crisis when they call and require immediate, accurate, and unbiased health care information. In addition to providing education and information, Hotline Counselors solicit consumer feedback and work with health care providers to improve client services.
