    American Cancer Society - Information and ReferralProvides information, day-to-day assistance, and emotional support. Day-to-day assistance is provided through programs like I Can Cope, Hope Lodge, Look GoodFeel Better and Road to Recovery. Look GoodFeel Better is a free workshop facilitated by trained licensed beauty professionals who teach women with cancer how to understand and care for changes in skin and hair that may occur during treatment. Through Road to Recovery, trained volunteers provide free transportation for patients to and from their cancer-related treatments. They offer emotional support through programs like Reach to Recovery and Cancer Survivors Network. In the Reach to Recovery program, trained breast cancer survivors provide support to newly diagnosed women with breast cancer.
