    Programs that accept new or secondhand uniforms and other work clothing, repair the items if necessary, and keep the clothing for use in their own programs, donate it to shelters and other community-based organizations for distribution to the people they serve, or sell it to raise money for agency programs.

The program is by referral and appointment only. Men can be referred by area agencies. Agencies can submit a referral form to Friends of the Poor either via fax or email.     Dress For Success - SuitingServices available to women while job searching and in the first few weeks of employment. Once an interview is scheduled, a referral is obtained to visit the Dress for Success boutique. Volunteers will work with women to help choose an interview outfit and will also provide guidance and support for the upcoming interview.     Dress to Impress - Pleasant Valley Ecumenical NetworkProgram provides clothing specifically targeted at the needs of those in the working world.     Perfect Fit For Working WomenSupports low-income women entering the workforce. Women are referred to the boutique by social service agencies in the Lehigh Valley. Every woman referred meets with a volunteer "fashion consultant" who assists her in putting together an interview outfit, complete with accessories. If desired by the client, volunteers can also provide one-on-one assistance on resume writing and interview skills. Donations of new and gently used CURRENT STYLE clothing in all sizes, including business, business casual, maternity and scrubs are welcome. Donations are by appointment only and by season. All clothing must be in good repair, cleaned, pressed and ready to wear. Accessories such as shoes, boots, jewelry, scarves, belts, handbags, brief cases, unused cosmetics and unused personal care items are always needed.     YWCA Greater Harrisburg - Employment Readiness Services for Homeless VeteransProvides a full range of employment readiness services to eligible homeless veterans seeking employment and self-sufficiency. Services include job search assistance, career planning and employment plan development, resume development and updating, interview skills training, assistance with work clothing, transportation, and referral assistance to help obtain other benefits and services. Provides job development, job coaching and retention services to eligible veterans regardless of barriers.
