Sobriety Through Out Patient - Individual, Couples and Family TherapyIndividual, Couples and Family Therapy CBT sessions are provided weekly for each consumer. Couples/family therapy sessions are provided monthly or more frequently as needed. In session, therapists have the opportunity to restructure consumers’ thinking and behavior into more adaptive and self-helpful patterns to minimize probability of substance use and/or mental health decompensation; reinforce sobriety, medication compliance as appropriate; help them to identify their substance use triggers, precursors to exacerbation of their mental illnesses; and educate and engage consumers’ families in disorder related challenges, care and the recovery process.
