|Buprenorphine Physician & Treatment Program Locator||This Locator is an on-line resource designed to assist States, medical and addiction treatment communities, potential patients, and/or their families in finding information on locating physicians and treatment programs authorized to treat opioid addiction with buprenorphine (Suboxone® and Subutex®).
The Locator lists:
- Physicians authorized to prescribe a class of medications for opioid (narcotic) addiction treatment, of which Suboxone® and Subutex® are the only ones approved at this time.

|Kirkbride Center - Residential Rehabilitation (Rehab) with Methadone Maintenance Treatment||Methadone Maintenance with Residential Rehab provides both short-term and long-term residential rehabilitation for substance abuse and addiction. At Kirkbride, patients can begin methadone maintenance treatment in an inpatient setting, allowing stabilization physically and mentally, and to get on a stable dose. |Methadone to Abstinence Program - Allenwood - White Deer Run||Specially trained medical personnel utilize this short-term program, allowing the patient to experience a more potent but comfortable detox when they have been using prescribed methadone. This five to fourteen day program helps reduce premature discharge rates. No patient is ever discharged on methadone. Acceptance into this program is dependent on level of the methadone prescription at time of admission as well as individual's insurance.

|Veterans Health Administration, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System - University Drive Campus: Center for Treatment of Addictive Disorders (CTAD)||The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System University Drive Campus’ Center for Treatment of Addictive Disorders (CTAD) offers several programs that help veterans overcome addiction. Motivational, behavioral and educational methods are used. These methods stress harm reduction, recovery skills, relapse prevention and follow a sound recovery plan. Treatment also addresses issues such as multiple diagnosis and chronic pain.

- CORE Program
The CTAD Outpatient Rehabilitation and Education Program is a 14 to 21-day intensive intervention that is held in both residential and non-residential settings. Patients work on learning skills needed to fight their addiction. A case manager will help each veteran work on their treatment plan goals. Call 412-360-6611 to schedule an interview.
- Outpatient Clinics
The Specialized Outpatient Aftercare and Recovery Clinics include personalized assessment and treatment planning. This is followed by outpatient individual and group therapy. The Opiod Substitution Therapy Clinic provides methadone maintenance therapy to assist those with opiate addiction that have been unresponsive to other therapies. Call 412-360-6092 for OSTC scheduling.
