    Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment ProgramSummit Oaks Hospital provides a safe inpatient environment for adults 18 years of age and older who are experiencing acute behavioral health symptoms and are in need of comprehensive evaluation, crisis intervention and stabilization. Patient care services are also rendered for dual diagnosis, a condition in which individuals suffer from both behavioral health and chemical dependency problems.     Adult Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient ProgramSummit Oaks Hospital’s IOP meet the therapeutic and scheduling needs of each client. We provide group therapy and medication monitoring in a less restrictive, flexible environment so patients who need to maintain work schedules, care for children or attend school, can. Services include psychiatric assessment, group therapy, psycho education, medication management, coordination of care, and referrals upon discharge. Group Meets: Monday-Friday, 9:30am to 12:30pm. Summit Oaks provides transportation to and from our Psychiatric IOP within a defined geographic area. Although each client is required to participate at least three times a week, frequency beyond 3 days is available for patients’ who need additional support. Patients frequently participate in our IOP for step down services from acute inpatient psychiatric, chemical dependency program or from a partial hospital program.     Montgomery County Emergency Services - Inpatient RecoveryThe MCES Inpatient Program provides crisis intervention, comprehensive assessment, short-term intensive psychiatric treatment, medical assessment, and discharge planning services to individuals and their family members. AA is also provided. - Individual Psychotherapy/Counseling: Sessions are held daily with a psychiatrist, psychologist and/or nursing staff. - Family/Couples Therapy: Therapy is provided by the Psychology and Psychiatry Departments when indicated. - Educational Groups: The groups are run by the clinical disciplines with an emphasis on relapse prevention, wellness and recovery. - Allied Therapy: This work involves comprehensive programming utilizing creative arts, recreational and educational groups.     Montgomery County Emergency Services - Mobile Crisis Intervention ServiceOur Mobile Crisis Intervention Service (MCIS) provides community based services to all who are at risk of hospitalization. The service is designed to assist in the resolution of behavioral health crises in the community, prevent hospitalization and promote stability and to educate the community on mental health issues. The Mobile Crisis team also provides follow-up case management services to clients on an as needed basis.
