Transportation-Shuttle Program-Boys and Girls Club of NEPAThe Boys & Girls Clubs’ After School Shuttle Program is a program where the Club provides transportation for a Club member directly from school to the Club daily. In addition, transportation is provided to the Club for any planned or unplanned early dismissals. Once at the Club, the children are fed, given help with their homework, and are provided with a variety of supervised activities in which to participate. Once the program is over at 5:30 p.m., the children may continue to participate in our Core Program, which runs until 8:00 p.m. for those ages 10 and under or 8:45 p.m. for those ages 11 and older.LackawannaBoys and Girls Club of NEPABoys and Girls Club of NEPA
YMCA of Bucks County - Chandler Hall - Inter-generational/Child Development ProgramThis on-site Program and Chandler Hall is an integral aspect of our community. The inter generational program occurs on a regular basis; children from infant through Kindergarten interact with members of the community. Whether making cookies, rocking babies, reading to the children or engaging in a host of other events, our residents and children all benefit. Daily Experiences occur on both a planned and informal basis. These experiences provide residents, clients, staff, and children a safe place to develop healthy bonds, to get to know similarities and differences, and to begin to dispel ageist myths. Some experiences include trips to nature centers and various museums; cooking, music and art programs. Participants of all ages are energized and encouraged to understand a diversity of cultures and lifestyles. The children and adults are part of a nurturing environment that promotes personal growth, enjoyment and appreciation for all ages and abilities.BucksYMCA of Bucks County- NewtownYMCA of Bucks County
