The primary service is assessment of caller needs, followed by sharing of information about and referrals to appropriate resources that will address client needs, questions and concerns. Maintains an extensive database of health and human services, including non-profit agencies and government programs.

|York County Astronomical Society - Club, Planetarium and Star Watch||The York County Astronomical Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the science of astronomy.
The Society operates The York Learning Center Planetarium bringing astronomy to the public, presenting astronomical shows and related astronomy programs of the night sky. Check the website for dates and times.

|York Youth Symphony||The York Youth Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping talented high school age musicians in the Greater York Area enhance their musical experience by providing an environment where they can practice and perform at the very highest level.
Established in 1957, the YYSO has continued to attract the very finest young musicians in the South Central Pennsylvania region. The orchestra is comprised of about 74 musicians, from grades 9 through 12, representing twenty school districts and home schooled students, mostly from York and Adams Counties.
The orchestra rehearses Saturday mornings at William Penn Senior High School from September through April. Each season the YYSO performs three public concerts at the William Penn Performing Arts Center and also two "educational" concerts at local elementary or middle schools.
Auditions are held each year in September.
