That includes nursing oversight, medication administration, and other skilled nursing services that match the needs of each individual. Art-Reach - Workshop ProgramThe Workshop Program provides in-depth, participatory arts programs that address specific social needs. BuildaBridge International - Community ProgramsBuildaBridge Community provides arts-integrated intervention and education to children and families in underserved communities. BuildaBridge International - Institute for Arts in TransformationBuildaBridge Institute is a research and training institute designed to prepare artists, social service professionals, community and congregational leaders, youth workers and non profit organization personnel to integrate the arts effectively in education and community development. BuildaBridge Institute embraces the power of the arts in community outreach by teaching arts based tools for healing and empowerment, and efficient ways to implement them, to better serve those in need. The Institute is offered in an annual five-day residency at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania; however, a similar program is offered abroad through BuildaBridge's International department. Courses, divided in two simultaneous tracks, are offered in 1.5 to 2.5 hour blocks throughout the day, where participants learn foundational theory, arts education, arts management, applied arts methods and art skills. First time participants attend first track courses, while second time participants attend second track courses, as follows: Foundations for Arts in Transformation (Track 1) Arts and Spiritual Development (Track 1) Arts, Creativity and Human Development (Track 1) Arts in Education (Track 1) Organization for Community Arts featuring collaborative work and fund-raising (Track1) Money News Network, a drama-based training program on financial management will be presented (Track 1) Arts in Healing (Track 2) Arts in Social Services (Track 2) Leadership Practicum (Track 2) Skills Development Workshops in: different art mediums (e.g. transformational drama, drumming, dance, visual arts etc.) and cross-cultural skills for community and overseas service (Track 1 and Track 2) Methods Lab Practicum where students and participants observe and assist a lead teacher in a direct arts service program with youth/seniors in a local homeless shelter (Track 1 and Track 2) Returning participants will also have the option to attend a third track (new) of course offerings on Emergency Art Relief on June 4-6, featuring CPR, First Aid, and Cross-Cultural Skills for Overseas Service. Carlisle Regional Performing Arts CenterProvide opportunities to children from all backgrounds and social/economic status to be involved in theatre and the arts. Enchantment Theatre Company - Outreach to SchoolsPre or Post Performance Teaching Artist Presentations: - ETC teaching artists are available to visit your classroom to help prepare students for the show. Students will be introduced to the story, characters and themes, and the different theater forms they will see in the play. Our artists are also available after the performance to discuss your students' theater experience, and to introduce them to the possibility of creating their own production. These presentations are available as an assembly program or a classroom demonstration. School Workshops and Residencies: - ETC teaching artists offer workshops and residencies for children and adults in mask-making, puppetry and physical theater. Although the basic principles of what is presented are simple, relevant and appropriate for all students, each workshop is customized to the size, needs, age, skill level and orientation of each group. Grands As Parent's (G.A.P.'s) - Very Important People ProgramThe VIP program offers these teens individual counseling, group counseling, mentorship conflict resolution/anger management, life skills, and sexual and drug abuse prevention. We also offer teens cultural activities through Art Sanctuary performances. We sponsor a modern dance troupe, in which teens choreograph their own dance steps. They also express themselves through Hip Hop, poetry, rap and drawing. There is leadership training, job readiness training, and workshops in health. Montgomery Theater - Young Actors WorkshopsMixed Media Summer Intensive has students working with professional actors and film makers to create an interactive theater and film piece. This two week camp focuses on acting technique, basic film making and play writing. $400 July 5th to July 16th M to F 10AM to 4PM Acting Summer Intensive spends three weeks taking students through the production process from rehearsal to curtain call! Focus is on Acting technique, characterization and scene work. $450 July 5th to July 23rd M to F 10AM to 4PM Musical Theater Summer Intensive, also three weeks, takes its students through the production of a musical! Focus is on voice dance and acting. $550 July 5th to July 23rd M to F 10AM to 4PM Young Actors Company Summer Intensive Three month long summer program for talented teens in 9th to 12th grades including acting classes and final one act production. Students have acting intensive in the morning, and rehearse a production in the afternoon. The class also includes three visiting master teachers that will train students in improve, auditions, and directing.
