Intercultural Family Services - Family Stabilization Services (FSS)When children suffer from abuse and neglect, the first response is to remove them from their families. Yet separation can bring more pain and suffering when used as a quick fix that fails to address the complex causes of many family problems. Family Stabilization Services (FSS) is a child welfare program that provides intensive, in-home services as an alternative to institutional placement.
