    Cancer Financial Assistance CoalitionCancer Financial Assistance Coalition (CFAC) is a coalition of organizations helping cancer patients manage their financial challenges. They join forces to help cancer patients experience better health and well-being by limiting financial challenges, through:
    • Facilitating communication and collaboration among member organizations;
    • Educating patients and providers about existing resources and linking to other organizations that can disseminate information about the collective resources of the member organizations;
    • Advocating on behalf of cancer patients who continue to bear financial burdens associated with the costs of cancer treatment and care.
    CFAC is a coalition of organizations and cannot respond to individual requests for financial assistance. To find out if financial help is available, please search the CFAC database. You may also contact each CFAC member organization individually for guidance and possible financial assistance. If you would like to have your organization considered for listing in our database, please complete our submission form.

    HealthWell FoundationThe HealthWell Foundation provides financial assistance to eligible individuals to cover coinsurance, copayments, health care premiums and deductibles for certain medications and therapies. If you've been prescribed a medication and your insurance company covers it, but you still cannot afford the coinsurance or copayment required, we may be able to assist you by paying for part of your costs associated with the medication. Also, if you are eligible for health insurance, but cannot afford the insurance premium, we may be able to assist with your insurance premium. Please keep in mind that the HealthWell Foundation currently does not assist with the following expenses:
    • Office visits,
    • Administration or infusion costs,
    • Medical equipment and supplies,
    • Medical transportation,
    • Health insurance premium costs for an entire family,
    • Deductibles that apply to treatments and services that are not eligible for your approved disease fund,
    • Pharmacy compounding costs,
    • Over-the-counter treatments,
    • Treatments for side effects (e.g. nausea).
