Eastern Center for Arts and Technology - Continuing Education for Adults | Provides affordable new classes in an effort to help jump-start careers. EASTERN offers a wide variety of job skill training programs for adults which are designed to meet specific job-skill needs. More than 1,000 adults gain new skills at EASTERN each year. EASTERN students in certain trade program can easily move directly into an apprentice program, or enroll in the next level of the program at EASTERN. In order to participate in the apprenticeship program, the employer must agree to the student’s participation in the program while working for the organization in the Electrical; Plumbing; or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning fields. This would require a commitment of two nights a week for four years. EASTERN also offers over 100 online courses from A+ certification preparation, to Designing Effective Websites, to Visual Basic 2008. Adult programs offer Culinary Arts mini programs, certification and job skills programs such as Servsafe, apprenticeship programs, computer courses, such as, Microsoft Office 2007, Automotive Industry Emissions and Industry Safety Inspection, Welding, Building Trades, CPR, and Automotive Collision Repair and Technology. Degree Completion (DC): A program for adults 25 years or older with 50 or more college credits, which enables them to complete a Bachelor of Science in Bible degree in just 20 months, meeting one night a week or online. Adults 25 or older can also start in an associate program meets one night a week or online and have the opportunity to earn a bachelor degree through the same format.
Institute of Biblical Enrichment: A non-college credit program of education designed to provide enrichment for adults in various areas of Bible study, ministry skills, cultural, and historical studies.
Graduate School: Four degrees are offered, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Ministry and Master of Arts in Bible and Master of Education. Program schedule is designed to be convenient for part-time students who work full time.

Referral, Comprehensive Case Management, Translation and Interpretation Services (Spanish) | Formed as a nonprofit organization in 2000, The Chambersburg Hispanic American Center (CHAC) bridges the language and cultural divide that sometimes hinders new Latino residents from accessing services for which they are eligible.
CHAC’s main goals are to inform and educate. It seeks to integrate Latinos, both temporary and permanent residents, into the local community and help them to improve the quality of their lives. Most of our work is carried out through one-on-one counseling in Spanish and English, offered free. CHAC connects people with jobs, housing and various social services.

Road Scholar | Provides learning opportunities for adults. Consists of nearly 2000 educational and cultural institutions in United States and 70 countries overseas. Programs generally include a variety of extracurricular activities, field trip and cultural events.
