Any potentially viable civil rights complaints identified through this process will be referred to the CBR Clinic or when necessary to other appropriate sources for assistance. Everyday in Montgomery County, children suffer from physical and sexual abuse by someone close to them, oftentimes a trusted family member. These powerless children are harmed by malicious offenders in many heart-wrenching scenarios; there is no typical child abuse case just as there is no typical child abuse victim. Sadly, what is typical is the harrowing and confusing circumstances confronting a child victim as a case progresses. The legal arena is unfamiliar; the terminology is complicated and confusing; the progression of the case has unique and unusual traumatic twists. Over 100 MCAP advocate attorneys volunteer their time to represent these children each and every day in Montgomery County.MontgomeryMontgomery Child Advocacy Project - Montgomery; NorristownMontgomery Child Advocacy Project
