| Saint Matthews Assistance Ministry - Basic Needs Help | FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - by appointment only (clients must call on Tuesdays only from 8:30am-9:30am for an appointment for Friday mornings); typical amount paid $25-$50. Bills can not exceed $200.00 and the bill cannot be a shut off notice. The following are the ONLY items we help with:
•Medical bill assistance (physician verified)
•Prescription assistance (must receive fax from doctor's office verifying prescription)
•Electric bill assistance (no CAP recipients)
•Gas bill assistance (no CAP recipients)

A recipient can only receive assistance from us one time in 90 days and the need can not exceed $200. We provide $50 in assistance (1/4 of bill/invoice).
