On regularly scheduled days, medical assessments, with appropriate treatment, medical prescriptions, as well as primary care services are provided to the veterans.
- Computer Applications Training - A comprehensive computer class teaching veterans Microsoft Office, internet, and Email.
- Computer Repair Training - An intense course preparing veterans to become A+ certified (an entry level certification for information technology positions).
- Job Development/Case Management - Dedicated to finding veterans employment. Interview techniques, resume assistance, job search, financial and household budget skills, and life skills workshops are provided.
- Veteran Benefits Counseling - A Veteran Service Officer is available to those veterans filing claims with the VA. |The New Love Center Food Pantry Jersey Shore||Pantry provides a box of food, milk, eggs, and produce for a family of four once per month on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Larger families receive more boxes based on the size of the family. One must fall under the income guidelines of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
Also participates in the Senior Program (must be 60 or older) that supplements their regular box.
Backpack program is focused on school children. The backpacks are distributed every Friday during the school year to children whose parents have registered them. This gives the children microwavable food, drinks and snacks.
