    Access Grant ProgramProgram activities include, but are not limited to the following:Adaptive modifications such as ramps, lifts, door widening, visual door bells, audio phones, visual phone signalers, etc. that will improve the ability of a person with disabilities to enter and exit the home. Adaptive modifications, such as widening hallways, lowering the kitchen counters, enlarging bathrooms, or adding grab bars that will increase the ability of a person with disabilities to perform activities of daily living. Other adaptive modifications that will enable a person with a disability to remain in the home and prevent institutionalization.     TURN (Tenant Union Representative Network) - Senior Assistance Program (TAGADAPT)Designed to meet the specific needs of elderly tenants through phone counseling and home visits. In addition, the program can provide a small number of adaptive modifications in the homes of low-income senior tenants who need them in order to remain in their apartment.
