    Catholic Social Services - Pregnancy & Parenting SupportWe offer bilingual parenting and pregnancy support groups, which are held at various times throughout the week. The classes are designed to offer support for first time parents as well as parents with children of various ages. Evidence-based curriculum is taught to help individuals strengthen their parenting skills by discussing topics such as baby's first month, nutrition, safe sleep, building relationships, sibling rivalry, and so on.The support groups offer a place where individuals can meet other parents, develop friendships and leadership skills, obtain resources, receive diapers and other baby supplies, and develop skills to become a stronger, more resilient family unit. Events and workshops are held throughout the year including an annual baby shower, which is open to the community, to support individuals who are pregnant or have children under one year old. English-speaking pregnancy support classes are held Tuesdays at 11:00 am and Friday at 10:00 am; and parenting support classes are Thursdays at 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm.     The Open Link - Community Food PantryCommunity Food Pantry is designed to provide food to local individuals and families who do not currently have the financial means to meet their nutritional needs. The pantry is able to provide local families in need with other basic necessities such as infant formula, diapers, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper products (when available). Access to the pantry per family is once a month.     West Chester Food CupboardProgram distributes free food by appointment to West Chester residents whose incomes are no greater than 150% of the poverty level. Applicants must show proof of residence. Program participants receive one week's worth of food once a month, including fresh produce, non-perishables, frozen food and personal care items (as available). The Cupboard also does special holiday and seasonal projects, such as Easter baskets and back-to-school backpacks.
