Description of Service
Assists out of school youth from 17 to 24 years obtain their GED as well as offer training in customer service through the National Retail Federation. Also provides case management, resume writing, career exploration, job search/placement, post-secondary education opportunities, interviewing techniques, mentoring and paid work experience opportunities.
Telephone, call to set up a date for orientation; Fill out all necessary paperwork to determine eligibility; discuss career goals with case manager and form a plan to achieve those goals
Ages 17 years to 24, considered an out of school youth (high school dropout or graduate), cannot exceed posted financial limits from federal government, must have barriers to being employed
