Description of ServiceProvides practical information designed to improve the quality of life for local residents in conjunction with Penn State University.

Programs include:
- Agriculture: Dairy, poultry, livestock, horticulture, farm safety, agronomy, ag economic development
- West Nile Virus Program
- Master Gardening Program
- Family Living
- Better Kid Care
- Nutrition: food irradiation, foods and nutrition, home canning and freezing, food safety information, food safety training for volunteer groups.
- Expanded Food and Nutrition Program (EFNEP): for low-income families - SuperCupboard Nutrition Program.
