Description of Service
After School Program provides homework help, tutoring, computer lab and enrichment activities for children in first-twelfth grade living in the Marvine/Pembroke low income housing development. Open Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 5:30pm during school year when BASD is in session.
Summer camp program offers swimming and various activities for children, 6 to 12 years of age. Operates for seven weeks during the summer, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm and Friday, 8:00am to 12:00pm with extended hours until 3:00pm available upon request.
Older Youth Program meets once per week providing a positive, supervised venue for older youth in grades 8 through 12. Program encourages the young adults to build mentoring relationships with staff & other community adults who encourage positive behavior and good living habits.
