Description of Service
Responsible for the maintenance of all state roads spanning 1200 miles within Lancaster County, 760 bridges and over 50,000 signs. Call for specific concerns.
- Accepts reports on potholes, road hazards and other road maintenance problems. Callers are asked to be as specific as possible when providing the locations of maintenance problems. The county, municipality and the traffic or state route number should be identified.
- Administers the Adopt-a-Highway Program. Groups pledge to maintain a stretch of roadway or highway. Call Coordinator for more information.
