Description of Service
Commuter Services of PA works to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by promoting “green” commuting options, such as carpooling, vanpooling, transit, walking, biking and teleworking.
They help commuters and employers within their service area to find transportation choices, other than driving alone, for the work commute.
•Commute PA is a program that makes commuting to work easy and rewarding.
•It allows commuters to find carpool partners and research transit routes.
•Commuters can earn points for each “green” trip they track and redeem those points for rewards.
•The Emergency Ride Home (ERH) program is a great benefit available to anyone who uses a "green" mode for their work commute. Commuters who track at least two "green" trips per week to work in Commute PA are eligible for the ERH program.
