Description of Service
Provides 17-24 year old Reading area youth with the opportunity to learn academic, job readiness, and occupational skills by preparing them to make a successful transition into post-secondary education, the construction industry and other high-growth occupational sectors. Students prepare for the GED while also learning to become self-sufficient, career-minded adults.

Application, income verification, interviewRequired to: •Attend an information session.•Take the TABE test.•Submit eligibility documentation(picture ID, social security card, selective services for males 18 or older, and proof of income).•Successfully pass an interview.•Complete our 2 week Mental Toughness Orientation
Must:•Be at least 17 years old, but not older than 24 years old, on the first day of the school year•Not have a high school diploma or GED•Successfully complete UCS YouthBuild 5 step enrollment process
