General Information
Description of ServiceProvide readjustment and transition counseling to veterans of military campaigns and their family members. Services available at Vet Centers include individual, group and family counseling, bereavement counseling for families of an active duty death and counseling for military sexual trauma.

Family members of combat veterans are eligible for Vet Center counseling services for military related issues.

EligibilityAvailable to service men and women who served their nation in a combat theater during the following periods:
- World War II
- Korea
- Vietnam
- Lebanon
- Grenada
- Panama
- Persian Gulf
- Somalia
- Bosnia/Kosovo
- Global War on Terror (Sept 11 to the present)

Family members are eligible for counseling services when the problem is related to the Veteran's military experience.

All veterans, regardless of time period served, are eligible to receive counseling for sexual trauma.
