Description of Service
This program is offered to the community providing the information and skills needed to respond to an opioid overdose. The classes are offered throughout the county at no charge and run for 1½ hours. The goal is to help participants better understand the risks associated with opioid overdose and how to properly use Narcan/Naloxone, the medication used to reverse and opioid overdose. This life-saving training is free for those who attend.
Trainees will receive a certificate of completion and one free dose of Narcan (while supplies last) upon completion of the training.
