Description of Service
Air Force Aid Society's General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program provides $2,000 need-based grants to full-time college undergraduates who are dependent children of active duty Air Force members, retirees or deceased members. Spouses of active duty members, and surviving spouses of deceased personnel are also eligible to compete for these grants.
The Society awards a selected number of $5,000 merit-based scholarships to incoming freshman who have completed both phases of the General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant application, and therefore, have already been reviewed for eligibility and had their Grade Point Average (GPA) verified.
The Society offers an interest-free loan to help reimburse families for incidental college expenses.
