Description of Service
Korean War Veterans Association was chartered by Congress in 2008 and is a nonprofit organization and a veteran’s service organization that maintains a continuing interest in the welfare of veterans of the Korean War, and rehabilitation of the disabled veterans of the Korean War to include all that served during active hostilities and subsequently in defense of the Republic of Korea, and their families. The Association provides information on Korean War POWs and MIAs, ReVisit Korea tours, Agent Orange exposure, and Korean War Memorials. The Korean War Veterans Association advocates for a free Korea and also publishes a bi-monthly magazine.
If you have EVER honorably served in Korea as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces September 3, 1945 to Present, or served outside of Korea June 25, 1950 to Jan. 31, 1955, you qualify to be a Regular Member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Inc.
