Description of Service
The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation has been hosting this lunch-time seminar series since 1999. It is very popular with our local non-profit executives. Seminar topics relate to the non-profit sector addressing issues of management, governance, program resources, marketing and public relations, financial management, and fund raising. The seminars have an average attendance of 20 people, with the maximum attendance of 25 people, drawing from 120 non-profit organizations within the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation service area. This is a varied group from grassroots community groups to well-established, mature organizations. The Brown Bag Seminars generally begin at 12:00 noon and end promptly at 1:30 p.m. The Foundation sponsors ten workshops per year: February through June and August through December.
