Description of Service
Provides transitional living facility for up to 13 women with children. Offers supportive services for those recovering from homelessness, abuse, and addiction and helps them look for affordable permanent housing.
As part of the Residential Contract that each woman signs upon entrance into the program, all Overington House residents are required to be actively involved in employment, job training or education during their stay. Maximum children per family is 3. Residents are expected to enroll their children in school or child care. On site mandatory groups and meetings are held on an ongoing basis.
Family must be coming from another facility in order to verify homelessness.
