General Information
Description of ServiceTo diminish the spread of HIV in the Philadelphia Community through education and testing. This program provides counseling and rapid HIV testing, creates a risk reduction plan with participants,links HIV positive individuals to medical care within 90 days, provides emotional support, HIV education, and referrals, and distributes safer sex and bleach kits. The program participates in testing events, leads the coordination of the National Testing Day (NTD- June) and National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD- Oct). It also participates at community events where targeted populations will be reached @ table settings for HIV education and testing.
