Description of Service
Provides services for infants and toddlers who show evidence of or are at risk for lags in physical, cognitive, language, speech and psycho-social development. Services may be community-based or home-based, depending on the needs. All educational, diagnostic and therapeutic services, as well as transportation, are provided under an individualized plan, which is reviewed as needed. Parents participate fully in the development and implementation of the plans. Ken-Crest's services are funded by public funds and private grants and are without cost to the family. A City of Philadelphia Office of Mental Health/Mental Retardation program.
