Description of ServiceA 32 week maximum intensive, in-home, team-delivered service to families in which there is a child/adolescent with a serious mental illness or emotional disturbance who is at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement.

-Less restrictive/intensive interventions have been tried and unsuccessful.
-A licensed psychiatrist/psychologist determined that FBMHS are medically necessary.
-At least one of the child's adult caregivers participation.
-All involved child-serving systems (CYF, Drug & Alcohol, Education, Juvenile Justice) are in agreement.
-Child must be eligible for Medical assistance and have ACCESS card to receive services.
