Description of Service
Family Foster Care is a planned, goal-directed service which includes: the provision of 24 hour care in an approved foster home (with no more than 6 youth including natural children); the provision of services to birth/legal parents (and other potential permanent caregivers) aimed at achieving permanency for children through reunification, adoption or subsidized legal custodianship; the provision of services directed at preparing youth age 14 and older for independent living.
