Description of Service
NEXUS students are be grouped according to academic achievement, language ability, learning capacity, and relational development. Instruction takes place in small groups of up to four children and a teacher, with the children assigned by skill level in the topic being addressed. Students are regrouped according to their strengths/weaknesses in each subject. Classes are conducted simultaneously in close proximity, to foster opportunities for the children to become familiar and comfortable with each other.
- The Nexus School is a private academic school licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Education.
- The Nexus School serves students within the autism spectrum and is certified to serve students kindergarten through eighth grade.
