General Information
Description of ServiceSummit Oak Hospital’s Child and Adolescent inpatient program is a 22-bed short term psychiatric program providing acute care to kids ages 5 to 17 who are in need of specialized behavioral health care management. Our Child and Adolescent treatment team is led by Mariam Bekhit, MD, who is double board certified in Child Psychiatry as well as Adult Psychiatry. Summit Oaks hospital accepts both voluntary and involuntary admissions.

We offer several levels of therapeutic interventions on a daily basis which foster self-esteem, respect, and academic excellence. Our focus is to help children and adolescents increase self-esteem and assume responsibility for their behavior.
