Description of Service
Provided through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, the Child Care Information Service [CCIS] of Montgomery County receives funding to assist qualifying families in Montgomery County meet their child care expenses. The CCIS is responsible for determining family eligibility for child care subsidy, establishing agreements with child care service providers, and for making vendor payments to providers on behalf of eligible families.

You and, if applicable, your spouse or live-in companion must:
-Work an average of at least 20 hours a week or work an average of at least 10 hours a week and attend training an average of at least 10 hours a week.
-Have gross annual family income that is under 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guideline
-Have at least one child under 13 years of age needing child care.
