Description of Service
The Combat Stress Recovery Clinic at University Drive VA Medical Center is a highly specialized group of mental health professionals who diagnose and treat veterans who suffer from combat stress reactions and PTSD. They serve veterans from all wars.
No matter where you live, PTSD treatment in the Department of Veterans Affairs is available. Each medical center within VA has PTSD specialists who provide treatment for Veterans with PTSD and there are nearly 200 specialized PTSD treatment programs throughout the country.
If you suspect you or a veteran you know may be having symptoms of combat stress or PTSD they may be eligible for a no-cost evaluation at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
Veterans who suspect they may suffer from symptoms of combat stress are referred to the clinic and evaluated by CSRC psychologists. An array of services are offered, including evidence-based individual psychotherapies; skills-based and era-based group psychotherapies, psychiatric medication management, and individual and group therapy.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
You may be eligible for VA benefits if you are a: veteran; veteran's dependent; surviving spouse, child or parent of a deceased veteran; uniformed service member; present or former reservist or National Guard member.
