Description of ServiceChildren’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Camp Chihopi is a 4-day, overnight camp for Children who have received liver transplants and/or intestine transplants. During this summer camping event, campers are encouraged to make new friends, share their experiences, and participate in a variety of outdoor camp activities to the best of their abilities.

Camp Chihopi provides a non-medical environment where campers can increase self esteem and interact with children with similar medical backgrounds. The camp aims to help children continue to adapt to their chronic condition as a transplant recipient as they mature into young adults.

Fee AmountsThe fee for this 4-day camp is $35.
Payment NotesLimited contributions may be available to partially defray costs, particularly if you live greater than 100 miles from Pittsburgh.
