Description of Service
Computing Workshop provides a completely individualized, strengths–based summer program for students on the Autistic Spectrum or with other cognitive, affective, and/or physical differences. The program is designed to serve students at all levels. The student/family, Computing Workshop staff, and representatives from school or agency work together to design a summer schedule for the student including any or all of the following: Social skills; communications skills; academics in all content areas (from remedial/basic through advanced/enrichment, college+ level); support for emerging skills or upcoming changes in school programming; career exploration/site visits; transition services, including assessment, employment simulation, internship placement, pre-college program; community -based experiences. The program offers a particularly broad range of options in areas of computing/technology and the arts.
Pre-enrollment is required by parent or guardian or school district. This provider is willing to implement an IEP developed in another program.
Students and adults with Autistic Spectrum disorders or other cognitive, affective, and/or physical differences.
Fees or Charges
$3,325 for 6 weeks; $2,925 for 5 weeks; $2,425 for 4 weeks.
