Description of ServiceEarly head start/head start of York County, in partnership with the community, recognizes and supports families as the primary educators of their children. Early head start/head start provides comprehensive services to assist families to move toward self-sufficiency and prepare children to enter school as competent learners.
Full day and part-day education program throughout York County for pre-schoolers
Early head start/head start program (Sept-May): educational services to pre-natal to 5 year-olds. Assists families with social services, health, nutrition, dental needs, and special services for children. Survey special needs children
Transportation can be provided
In-home services are available
Referral available in some locations
