General Information
Description of ServiceThe libraries mission is to acquire, store, retrieve, disseminate, and preserve legal information. The library provides free, equal access and quality service to judges, attorneys, students, government employees, paralegals, and the residents of Dauphin County.

The Self-Help Center is located in the Law Library and provides forms and instructions for litigants who choose to represent themselves. Forms for Divorce, Custody, License Suspension Appeals, Name Changes, Declaration of Ownership, and In Forma Pauperis are available for purchase

Helpful TipsThe Law Library is open to the public Monday-Friday, 8:00am-1:00pm. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to licensed Pennsylvania attorneys. Attorneys seeking admittance after hours must present proper identification to courthouse security.
