Description of Service
Hope Enterprises Early Learning is a half-day program for children ages 3 to 5, with or without disabilities, that offers an array of learning experiences to promote the development of the young child. They provide a safe and nurturing environment, which is essential to foster the educational process for children to grow through hands-on activities. The curriculum encourages the development of the whole child through meaningful activities in the following areas:
Gross and Fine Motor Skills
Art, music and computer readiness
Following classroom routines
Participation in community field trips
Each classroom has a maximum enrollment of nine children with a certified teacher and trained instructional aide. Each classroom includes children with special needs and children without disabilities. Classes are two and a half hour sessions with changing weekly themes, a variety of child initiated play and teacher directed activities.
To apply for services, contact the Intake Coordinator at 570-326-3745. Referrals can be made through local organizations, such as Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, school district personnel, BLAST IU #17, community organizations, family members, and self-referrals. All referrals must meet eligiblity standards and licensing requirements.
