Description of Service
Our Bilingual professional staff we assist and connect consumers with programs, benefits, and services that they may be eligible for such as state benefits through the PA Compass System, welfare benefits, public health insurance, etc. Due to our extensive network with local providers we are able to refer clients to where our clients are able to have their needs met. Provides referrals to social service agencies, advocacy, translation, notary services, etc. including referrals to Safe Berks if client fears for her/his life. Dedicated Personnel trained on domestic violence service support through Safe Berks.
Barta bus system has a bus stop in front of Centro Hispano office at 5th and Washington street.
Walk-in, call for appointment
The more documenation you can provide us the more likely we will be able to find a program or service to support your needs. Examples of documentation include social security cards and forms of Identification if you have any. We can help consumers in English and in Spanish.
All are welcome to the Centro Hispano to receive assistance and support. Program eligibility requirements vary by program.
