Description of Service
The Mental Health Program provides a comprehensive array of community-based services and supports for children and adults with mental illness and their families. Crisis intervention line is available 24 hours a day for those experiencing a mental health crisis.
Provides information and referral services. Contracts with providers for outpatient services, case management, group homes and housing assistance for adults with mental illness.
Services include outpatient mental health treatment, family based mental health services/family therapy, inpatient/outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, psychiatric evaluations, intensive case management, partial hospitalization, community based group homes or rehabilitative host homes, residential treatment and inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. All services for children are covered by medical assistance.
