Description of Program
Luzerne County Probation Services Department is to enhance public safety through Proactive, Community Based supervision of offenders sentenced to our care.
Proactive means we will take appropriate preventive action to reduce risk to public safety.
Community Based means we will endeavor to supervise offenders in their community,creating opportunities for offenders to be rehabilitated through treatment, counseling, and personal responsibility.
