Description of ProgramThe Permanent Supportive Housing- Pittsburgh House is a shared living apartment located in Greensburg, PA that accommodates 8 tenants. The Pittsburgh Street House is a low-cost housing Program and funded through HUD. Tenants are required to pay monthly rent and are responsible for all of their daily living expenses. The Program is not staffed; however, each tenant receives support through a supportive case manager. The purpose of this service is to assist tenants in successfully achieving goals they identify for themselves, i.e. employment, higher education. Criteria for the Pittsburgh Street House: chronically homeless, mental health diagnosis, 18 years old +. The Program is committed to assisting military veterans; however, everyone meeting Program criteria is encouraged to apply
