Description of Program
The Children's Development Center is a division of Hope Enterprises. They offer early learning services for children ages 3 to 5, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy for children with developmental disabilities, as well as pediatric neurology. In addition, a TeenLink program provides high school students with developmental disabilities the opportunity to develop the necessary independent living skills to successfully make the move from school to independent living.
Yes. Entire first floor is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
To apply for services, contact the Intake Coordinator at 570-326-3745. Referrals can be made through local organizations, such as Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, school district personnel, BLAST IU #17, community organizations, family members, and self-referrals. All referrals must meet eligiblity standards and licensing requirements.

Once they receive the information, they will obtain the necessary authorizations and prescriptions. A scheduler will contact you for an appointment for the initial evaluation.

Children can be referred to the Children's Development Center for:
Inclusive Full Day Pre-School Program beginning at age 2 years 7 months
Autism Program beginning at age 2
Referrals may be made by parents, family members, family physicians, pediatricians, other healthcare providers, case managers, social workers, mental health providers, counselors, or teachers.
