Description of Program
A program working with people experiencing homelessness having the express goal of moving to permanent housing. All programs are housed at 105 E King St. Within the program, they serve many populations, including but not restricted to Veterans through our Veterans’ Victory House, families and households through the Emergency Shelter program and returning citizens from the justice system thorough the Re-Entry Management Program (RMO).
Each household is assigned a case manager who works with each individual or family to develop an Individualized Housing Plan, again with the ultimate goal of achieving permanent housing. The plan, worked on together with the family or individual includes, among other items, a budget and a potential referral to a rapid re-housing program. Emphasis may also be placed on education, employment and/or recovery needs. Additionally, they offer a lifelong learning program consisting of among many options, GED classes, Creative expression and budgeting classes.
