Description of Program
Supports low-income women entering the workforce. Women are referred to the boutique by social service agencies in the Lehigh Valley. Every woman referred meets with a volunteer "fashion consultant" who assists her in putting together an interview outfit, complete with accessories. If desired by the client, volunteers can also provide one-on-one assistance on resume writing and interview skills.
Donations of new and gently used CURRENT STYLE clothing in all sizes, including business, business casual, maternity and scrubs are welcome. Donations are by appointment only and by season. All clothing must be in good repair, cleaned, pressed and ready to wear. Accessories such as shoes, boots, jewelry, scarves, belts, handbags, brief cases, unused cosmetics and unused personal care items are always needed. Also needed are NEW with tags, undergarments, stockings, knee highs and socks.
